MY STORY

ME Klesse is a painter, with works in graphite, acrylic, clay, fiber, dance and music, she uses a variety of techniques including a multisensorial artform “Excrypted Art” which engages all five senses, to create expressive communication through experiences and effects.

The opportunity to live in many parts of the country has given this Coastal Texas artist insight into local cultural and geographic diversities.

With a Philosophy degree from Rutgers, an M.S. from Texas A&M and experience as an R.N. in the ER treating both physical and psychological trauma, her background in understanding and treating the human psyche has provided insight into the human experience from which to draw on for artistic exploration enhanced through studio art study at The Pratt Institute and the New York Studio School.

With gallery works in N.Y., L.A., Houston, Dallas and London, branching out to public installation has given voice to pieces that speak to communities. A grant from the Fine Line Group sponsored a 2021-22 public installation in Rockport/Fulton TX.
